Walkman NWZ-A864, NWZ-A865, NWZ-A866 Firmware Update

Firmware Update for Walkman NWZ-A864/A865/A866 version 1.04.
Please read carefully the following instructions.

Note: This update utility is not necessary if your Walkman has already been updated to firmware version 1.04 by the automatic firmware update function.

Contents of the update  
This utility updates the Walkman® player to firmware version 1.04 and provides the following benefits:

• Improved stability when connecting with some Bluetooth devices of other companies.

Improvements provided by previous updates and included in version 1.04: 

• Stability of the touch panel operation has been improved.

Applicable Models
NWZ-A860 Series (NWZ-A864/A865/A866) that have firmware version lower than 1.04.

Target ownersThe owners of the target products whose firmware version should be 1.00.

How to confirm the Model and the Firmware versionPlease confirm the Model and the Firmware version from the steps below.

1. Press the HOME button until the Home menu appears.
2. Tap  (Settings), Common Settings, and Unit Information.
